Juvenile champion trotter, On A Streak, showed his influence on early speed when he sired his first winner at Terang on Tuesday night.

A Breeders Crown Champion and O'Brien Two-Year-Old of the Year in his career in North America, On A Streak produced Bumper Crop to win at her first start in impressive fashion in Australia.
The two-year-old filly is trained by Antti Ruokonen and was sent out as $2.20 favourite. She was allowed to settle in the one-one over the 1680m mobile event by driver Glen Craven.
Taking on older horses, most of which were race winners themselves, Bumper Crop was handled patiently before being presented wide on the track in the home straight.
She showed emphatic speed once clear to run down the pacemakers and win going away at the line showing she had plenty more to offer going forward.
Bumper Crop was bred by Mary Driscoll and is out of Kinvara Sue, a Yankee Spider mare, who herself won 13 races during her career.
In Australia On A Streak has already had four two-year-olds to race, with one winner now in Bumper Crop, and Chief Kenny has had two starts for two second placings.
In New Zealand the feedback from trainers has been extremely positive, with reports of his progeny possessing good early speed, clean gaits and wonderful attitudes with a willingness to work. His first two-year-olds are due to be seen at trials soon.
His impressions already saw his sole offering, a filly, at the 2026 Yearling Sales in Auckland fetch $50,000 by Stonewall Stud.
Standing at Wai Eyre Farm for our partners Yabby Dam Farms, On A Streak combines his brilliant pedigree, being by sire of sires Cantab Hall and is out of Muscles Yankee mare Habit's Best.
That, along with exceptional fertility and his own successful juvenile career, offers great value to trotting breeders.
