US Captain sires impressive 2yo qualifier

US Captain continues to kick goals with his limited progeny in North America.
Already to date his oldest progeny have stepped up, of three three-year-olds he has a winner in Send Me Ten (2 wins to date as a two-year-old) and one other is qualified.
On Thursday the first of his two-year-olds to hit the track impressed.
Hawaiian Warfare won his qualifier emphatically at Harrington Racetrack in Delaware, leading throughout and extending that lead to five lengths over the final 800m, before cruising effortlessly to win by 8 lengths in the straight.
Trained by Erin Neilson and driven by Mike Cole, Hawaiian Warfare showed a mature turn of foot while his rivals battled. He looks to be a horse to follow through upcoming Sire Stakes racing in Delware, which is also where Send Me Ten is aimed.
Hawaiian Warfare is out of Ukelele Blue Chip, a Stay Hungry mare.
Serving a handful of mares whilst still racing, US Captain also has just four two-year-olds in the US this season, one of which is Hawaiian Warfare. One other, US Reveille, has also trialled.
An impressive individual with a world class pedigree, US Captain is by Captaintreacherous out of World Champion mare, American Jewel.
He had a tremendous first season down under, serving 94 mares last season with impeccable fertility. He offers wonderful value to breeders, and bookings are open now.
US Captain is available to New Zealand breeders for $3,000 plus GST this season, working fee included in the service if served at Wai Eyre Farm or Macca Lodge.
He is also available in Australia this season for $3,300 including GST.
