It's been a huge week for On A Streak as he hits milestones on both sides of the Tasman.

After siring his first winner in Australia at Terang on Tuesday night in two-year-old filly Bumper Crop, on Thursday he produced his first New Zealand qualifier at the Rangiora trials meeting.
Two-year-old filly La Venture put forward a professional effort to lead throughout the 2000m mobile two-year-old heat.
Driven by Blair Orange for trainer Michael Purdon, La Venture maintained her lead in the home straight to win by a neck in 2.39.0, three seconds under the required qualifying time.
La Venture is out of La Serena, a Quaker Jet mare, and was bred by Yabby Dam Farms, who stand On A Streak at Wai Eyre Farm.
La Serena herself won eight races and is now based at Wai Eyre Farm in partnership with Yabby Dam Farms.
Interestingly, La Venture's second dam is Donegal Flat, who is a half-sister to Kahlum - the dam of the great Lyell Creek.
The reports on the On A Streak progeny has been extremely positive, noting wonderful gaits, great attitudes and willingness to work.
On A Streak's oldest foals are two this year, and given his brilliance as a two-year-old in North America in winning a Breeders Crown and being named O'Brien Two-Year-Old of the year, it's no surprise that his foals are now showing that early ability as juveniles.
