We are extremely proud of the job Lazarus continues to do with his progeny, not only in New Zealand, but in Australia and the United States as well.
Ahead of the breeding season we have collated some of his stand out performers in New Zealand, and will also highlight his best performers across the ditch and stateside.
The Lazarus Effect has certainly taken the step up to Cup class in his stride, running away with a bold win in the Group One Taylor Mile, whilst also winning the Group Three Founders Cup. He is spelling before a huge spring campaign, that we are hopeful will feature the New Zealand Cup and how has 19 starts, 11 wins and 7 placings to his name.
Jeremiah has been impressive in winning seven races to date, and his full sister Jorja will line up in Sunday's Group Three Helen Pope Memorial 2YO Stakes for Fillies at Ashburton. She has caught the eye at her recent trials, and looks to have plenty of scope to develop into and try emulate her older brother's success.
The video features just some of the great winners Lazarus has left in this country, namely Change Tact (6 wins, now racing in Australia), Quicker Than Quick (5 wins), Ask Me Lazarus (5 wins) and promising three-year-olds Signman, Flying Ace and Franco Sublime.
Of note Nymbal and War Cry have both now been sold to Australia.
